Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to www.scribblebark.com.au (“Website”). By using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies posted on the Website.These Terms govern your use of the Website, including purchases of fine art prints, original paintings, workshops, custom commissions (including RAP artworks), and art projection services. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.Scribblebark Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”) refers to Deborah Bonar Scribblebark. “You” or “your” refers to the client, visitor, or website user.

Scope of Services

  • These Terms apply to:
  • Browsing and purchasing fine art prints and original artworks
  • Booking or attending art workshops (in-person or online)
  • Ordering custom commissions, including RAP commissions
  • Engaging art projection installation services
By completing an order or booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.

Eligibility & Age

You must be 18 years or older to purchase artworks or participate in workshops. For workshops involving minors, parental consent is required.

Ordering & Payment

  • Orders are accepted once payment is received and confirmed.
  • Payment methods include credit card, PayPal, or other secure third-party providers.
  • For commissions and workshops, a deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Prices are listed in AUD and may include applicable GST.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Domestic Orders (Australia):
  • Dispatch within 1–10 business days after payment.
  • Delivery via Australia Post or other reputable couriers; typical transit 2–14 days.
  • Delays may occur due to remote locations or courier limitations.
  • International Orders:
  • Signature required upon delivery; uncollected parcels returned after 10 days.
  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and re-shipping fees.
  • Damaged or Lost Items:
  • Report immediately to the courier and to us: deborah@scribblebark.com.au
  • Replacement is at our discretion.

Returns & Refunds

  • Change of mind is not eligible for returns.
  • Faulty or damaged items are eligible for replacement or refund.
  • Refunds are for the product cost only; shipping and merchant fees are excluded.
  • Workshop cancellations must follow the Workshop Terms.
  • Commission refund/cancellation terms will be outlined in individual agreements.
Third-party purchases (via external e-stores) follow the third-party terms, not these Terms.

Intellectual Property

  • All artworks remain the intellectual property of Deborah Bonar Scribblebark.
  • Purchase grants personal or corporate display rights only; reproduction or commercial use requires written permission.
  • Website content (images, text, graphics) may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without permission.

Limitation of Liability

  • Use of the Website and services is at your own risk.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including reliance on third-party content, links, or information.
  • Our liability for defective goods or services is limited to replacement, resupply, or reimbursement as allowed under the Australian Consumer Law.

Competition & Consumer Act

Goods and services supplied under this Website comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Guarantees under the ACL cannot be excluded.

Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.

About Scribblebark Studio
Scribblebark Studio is the home of Contemporary Aboriginal Abstract Art by Gija (East Kimberley) and Yamaji (Mid-West Western Australia) artist Deborah Bonar. Based in Perth and Mandurah, Deborah creates vibrant acrylic and ochre paintings that honour her cultural connections to Country through colour, movement, and layered abstraction. Collectors can explore a curated range of original artworks, open-edition prints, and custom Aboriginal art commissions tailored for residential, corporate, and community spaces. Scribblebark Studio proudly supports ethical, authentic First Nations art practices. Shipping is available across Perth, Peel Region, Western Australia, Australia, and internationally.
